Though quite rare, the UFC and Dana White are not unfamiliar with having fighters take substances to boost their performances inside the octagon. Given how combat sports come with an incredibly high risk of injury, taking substances to get an edge over your opponent is highly frowned upon. And newly signed UFC featherweight, Khusein Askhabov seems to be the most recent defaulter.
The UFC keeps trying its best to prevent fighters from cheating, however, there are fighters who do not seem to want to comply with the rules. There have been fighters and champions who have tested positive for banned substances and ended up facing massive penalties. The 23-1 fighter is no exception.

In the sample, Askhabov tested positive for Methandienone (Dianabol or D-Bol) metabolites, 17β-Methyl-5 β -androst-1-ene-3a,17a-diol, 17-epimethandienone, and 17 β -Hydroxymethyl,17a-methyl-18-nor-androst-1,4,13-trien-3-one (LTM).
