Mike Tyson Hilariously Recalls Being Obstructed by LeBron James During Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather Fight

Mike Tyson was one of the baddest men on the planet. And that’s past tense now, given the incredible character arc that the man has progressed to. An absolute unit in and out of the ring, Tyson’s mentality is looked to even today as the gold standard for being an elite competition at the highest level.

However, after decades out of the ring, the former world heavyweight champion is now a way calmer and wiser version of his past self. Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel interview, ‘Iron Mike‘ talked about his attendance in the McGregorMayweather fight back in 2017 and talked about a hilarious interaction with another legend of another sport. 

The seat that Mike Tyson was seated in couldn’t have been more unfortunate. He was precisely placed behind the 2.06 m NBA legend, LeBron James.

The height difference between the two athletes is staggering, which makes it so unfortunate. “Yeah, that’s very difficult to watch the fight. So I had to look at the television in the ceiling to watch the fight,” said Tyson

Even during Tyson’s boxing days, he was one of the shortest fighters in the heavyweight division. He still dominated all the same, however. LeBron James, however, doesn’t come under the tallest cream of players in the NBA. There are players taller than him as well. Coming to Tyson, however, The NBA star might have been a mountain to look past.

Considered one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, Mike Tyson made his exit from the world of boxing following a series of debilitating defeats. He, however, left the ring with an incredible career that very few people have.

Mike Tyson made a return to the boxing ring on 29th November 2020. In an exhibition match, he fought fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. The fight was considered a draw. This was a win-win for both fighters who faced off each other after a lucrative career for both.

Tyson now has his podcast called ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ where he has some of the world’s most famous athletes from boxing and other sports as well as giants from hip-hop and rap.
