Israel Adesanya, after losing three fights in a row, has decided to take some time off and not stress too much about what’s happening with his UFC career. In his time on the sidelines, the former 2-time middleweight champion appears to have discovered a new hobby, the kind of hobby that Shaquille O’Neal has turned into his new job. If you’re wondering what that is, well, Adesanya appears to have discovered his talents as a DJ.

Yes, after Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, Israel Adesanya has also decided to dip his hands in music. ‘The Last Stylebender’ has always shown his affinity towards art and entertainment, and has shown the world how good a dancer he really is. Adesanya has even collaborated with one of the most popular dance groups, the Jabbawockeez, in a video on social media that went as viral as it could have.

This time, though, it was about taking the stage at Afrosoul 2025 to show his DJ skills. Israel Adesanya came onto the stage with both of his UFC middleweight titles and then proceeded to play his set, which the crowd seemed to enjoy a lot. Alexander Volkanovski appears to have loved Adesanya’s performance and shared praise for the former champion on his Instagram stories. ‘The Great’ wrote, “Looks unreal…Well done [Adesanya].”

“In terms of opponents, I don’t know. Israel has got a couple of more [fight] in him. Just give him a fun fight. Give him something exciting. Give him something fun. I haven’t thought about specific names. Leave it to the fans, I guess,” he added. Regardless, fans will be waiting for Israel Adesanya to make a thunderous return just like he did at UFC 287, when he captured the 185lbs for a second time.
