Kevin Durant chooses the undefeated UFC star over his former partymate Conor McGregor

The sporting community of the world was taken aback in May this year. A video showcasing Durant, the noted UFC icon Conor Mcgregor, and the known rapper Rick Ross partying together at a Monaco-based pub garnered massive attention from sports fans. It also prompted a number of them to think that Durant had pretty friendly relations with McGregor.

However, the NBA star nullified this narrative during his recent interview. An ‘X’ account named ‘HonestMMA’ put out a video of Durant. In the video, Durant was asked about his favorite athlete to follow on social media in an interview. To the surprise of most fans, Durant replied, Khabib Nurmagomedov“.

Most fans would agree that McGregor boasts more online popularity than his archrival, Nurmagomedov. Also looking at the previous incident of the two partying together, several fans might have expected Durant to utter ‘Mystic Mac’s’ name as his favorite athlete online.
