Khabib Nurmagomedov has gained immense popularity across the globe from his tenure in the UFC. It is safe to say that he has become the face of wrestling. So much so that Khabib is mentioned in anything that is even remotely linked to wrestling. Something similar happened recently when a clip of a rather bizarre rendition of basketball surfaced on Twitter. The players can be seen wrestling with each other while playing what basketball. And fans were quick to make Khabib references to the clip over the game’s intense nature.

One of the responses to the video even raised the subject of whether the NBA superstar LeBron James could defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov in this variation of basketball.
Fans want Khabib to play Batyr Ball
A clip of the game called ‘Batyr Ball’ appeared on Twitter, and the fans were completely astounded by how it was played. However, from what it has shown so far, it appears to be a strange hybrid of basketball and wrestling. And in their reactions to the video, fans mentioned Khabib Nurmagomedov since it had a wrestling-like element to it.

Batyr Ball managed to wow the crowd despite the fact that the fans appeared to know nothing about the sport.
What is Batyr Ball?
‘Batyr Ball’ is a Russian version of basketball, just brutal. The game seems to be a strange blend of basketball and mixed martial arts. Although the game’s rules are not entirely apparent, it has a standard basketball-like setup. Almost similar to NBA.
