Similarly, in an interaction on Twitter, Rogan busted a myth former Los Angeles Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal believed in.

In 2017, after Kyrie Irving first made the flat earth claim, O’Neal backed the NBA player. The former Lakers star said, “It’s true. The Earth is flat, the Earth is flat. Yeah, it is. Yes, it is…….drive from Florida to California all the time, and it’s flat to me.”
O’Neal’s statement drew quite the reactions from people around the globe. UFC color commentator Joe Rogan was one of them and he was quick to bust the myth for O’Neal. Rogan, via Twitter, wrote, “Dear @SHAQ please watch this. The earth, like every known planet and star is round as f**k. https://t.co/TQQnh4WaKJ #gravity #science #stop”

Joe Rogan’s reply simply proved the fact he does not hold back. While the veteran color commentator took the time to correct O’Neal, the former Lakers star claimed he did not mean what he said.

Shaquille O’Neal clarified his flat-earth claim
After receiving quite the reactions for his flat earth comment, Shaquille O’Neal said he was just joking. The former Lakers center appeared on the art of charm podcast.

O’Neal said, “The first part of the theory is, I’m joking, you idiots,” He also clarified that the example he used to prove the flat earth theory was a joke too. The NBA legend said, “The second part is, I said jokingly that when I’m in my bus and I drive from Florida to California, which I do every summer, it seems to be flat.”
