UFC Star Shares Post Endorsing LeBron James’ Trade to Russia For Brittney Griner After Infamous Comments

The case of Brittney Griner is taking center stage in the world of sports. Several people from different walks of life have reacted to the same. Recently, NBA superstar LeBron James made comments on the situation of Griner. These comments by James received a negative response from UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal.
Brittney Griner was detained in Russia, and later the WNBA star pleaded guilty. Reacting to the news of her being detained, LeBron James commented and called out the US for its inability to flee Brittney Griner from Russia. James wondered if Griner would want to come back to the US. He said, “Now how can she feel like America has her back? I would be feeling like, ‘Do I even want to go back to America?”

After the comments made by James, UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal uploaded an Instagram story. In his story, Masvidal shared an image from a meme page by the name ‘Babylonbee’, which spoke for LeBron to be traded. The post by the meme page read, “Americans offer to trade LeBron to Russia for Brittney Griner.”

However, this isn’t the first time a UFC fighter has ranted against James. Previously, the basketball star has been called out by the arch-rival of Jorge Masvidal.

‘The Chaos’ dedicated his victory to the first responders, and simultaneously took a dig at James. He said, “I just want to dedicate this victory to them. All law enforcement, all military out there. You guys are the real celebrities. You guys are the real heroes of America. Not these woke athletes, not these spineless cowards like LeBron James.”
The 170-pound UFC fighter did not stop here. On his personal Twitter account, Covington shared an image of the above-mentioned tweet and wrote, “LOL at the snowflakes that believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me! If that coward had the b***s or the ability to kick anyone’s a*s, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit!”

LeBron James did not respond to these comments made by the former interim UFC welterweight champion. However, it seems as if the 4-time NBA champion is having a tough time dealing with UFC fighters.
