Dana White grabbed the helm of UFC back in 2001. Since then, the sport has been growing exponentially, with multiple events scheduled throughout the year. What initially was a sport that catered to a niche crowd is soaring high. As of June 2023, the average viewership for a UFC event is anywhere between 300,000 to 2,000,000, with viewerships having surpassed the million-dollar mark a total of 19 times. In recognition of this great feat, a highly acclaimed and respected honor has been bestowed upon the UFC President alongside other notable athletes. And incidentally, one of those athletes and White do not get along very well.

UFC head honcho, Dana White, joins Jake Paul and others on the ‘Influential’ list
There is no better feeling than to be recognized for your efforts and achievements and be ranked amongst some of the most influential people in sports. UFC President Dana White has made it to Sports Illustrated’s Power List of the 50 Most Influential People in Sports’.
White, besides being a fan of the sport, is also a very smart businessman. He has taken UFC to a global scale and done wonders for MMA as well. In fact, as of January 2023, the total number of fighters on the UFC roster (both men and women combined) is 578.

Apart from the UFC, Dana White has other investments and businesses as well. He is the proud owner of the American Slap Fighting promotion, Power Slap. Today, the estimated worth of the UFC President is $500 million, and he takes home a salary of $20 million.
The highly esteemed list that White has been included in features some of the greatest and most well-respected athletes across sports. NBA, Tennis, and Soccer stars Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Kylian Mbappe are only some of the big names on the list.
Another athlete who joined Dana White on the list is the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul. Both have a turbulent history with each other.
Jake Paul vs. Dana White – A beef that will never turn into a fight?
Dana White has downplayed Jake Paul’s achievements in the boxing world a number of times, taking jibes at his PPV sales and more. Paul, in turn, has retaliated by taking jibes at the highly controversial healthcare and low-pay concerns at the UFC.

The beef between the two escalated to a point where a fight between Jake Paul and Dana White was on the cards. When the UFC President was asked if he is open to settling the beef by stepping into the ring with Jake Paul, White said that he has no interest in ever doing that.

Jake Paul’s older brother, Logan Paul, however, shares a good relationship with the UFC President. In fact, there are rumors that Logan Paul might join the UFC as a fighter as well.
