UFC 299 is set to be the battleground for ‘Suga’ and ‘Chito’ to settle their long-standing beef. Their initial encounter witnessed a brutal defeat for O’Malley. Who manages the fight game for Sean O’Malley?

Sean O’Malley has been in some amazing fights recently. Petr Yan, Aljamain Sterling and now Marlon Vera. The bantamweight champion is on the run to clean out the division. Now let us get to the fundamental question. Who manages Sean O’Malley’s fights? Well, the rough answer to that question is: No one.

O’Malley is one of such unique individuals, who never liked the concepts of managers in fight business. In a conversation with MMAFighting with Sbn, O’Malley had stated that he rolls on his own “I am my management. “Solo Dolo. No middleman, no one taking a random percentage for being a middleman. I do all my own deals and s*** gets done right”

He further added “Say UFC gets a sponsorship deal, and whoever handles that at the UFC, they’re like, ‘The UFC wants Sean O’Malley, I’m going to go to his management,’ and then their management takes 20 percent, 15 percent, whatever, just to tell me about the deal. Not to do anything, just to say, ‘Hey, the UFC called, you want this deal?’ “

UFC 298 star, Merab Dvalishvili, has been assigned the responsibility to be the backup fighter for their match. Arguably, Dvalishvili is next in the line for the bantamweight title, considering his 10-fight winning streak and dominance over former dual-weight champion, Henry Cejudo.
