The 55-year-old hosts ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ a hugely popular podcast show where he talks about a wide range of subjects with all kinds of guests.

Rapper Danny Brown was the JRE’s most recent guest. Gambling came up in conversation during a segment of the episode, and both, Rogan and Brown revealed their fair share of gambling-related experiences.

Both started to talk about their memories in Vegas. Rogan also had a recollection with his wife when Brown was talking about his Las Vegas gambling experience.

Joe Rogan lost to his wife in blackjack

During the podcast, Joe Rogan pulled up a picture of him with his friends in Vegas, and Danny Brown said right away that Vegas had not been very kind to him. His wallet, for that matter. Brown said, “Vegas. I have so many bad memories of Vegas.”

When Rogan asked Brown whether he gambles, he stated, “I do gamble, to lose money.” To which the 55-year-old surprisingly asked, “You want to lose money?” And Brown answered, “No. That’s the way I gamble. With no intentions of winning money. So let’s just say like if I go to Vegas, I bet. Alright, I am gonna get a 1000 up. Not just wild out with a little thousand dollars. Once I lose my thousand dollars, that’s a wrap. I ain’t doing it.”

After hearing about Danny Brown‘s story, Joe Rogan thought back to one of his own losses, when he lost at blackjack to his wife, Jessica Ditzel.

“I played blackjack with my wife. We were in town for something and we played blackjack for like an hour and I said, ‘Alright, I’ve got 400 bucks on me. Like, I’m, let’s just try that. It was gone like half an hour. I am not even aggressively betting, I’m just terrible. I don’t have any desire. You know?”

Rogan used to bet on the UFC fights

Joe Rogan asserts to have a knack for gambling, albeit this wasn’t the case with regard to his wife. He once claimed that he had bet on UFC fights and had a substantially high winning ratio.
