19 Months After Trolling Him for His Arrest, Ex-UFC Star Kay Hansen Makes an ‘Unfortunate’ Jon Jones Admission
The current heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, is one of the greatest fighters in the promotion right now. Jones has achieved so much in his fighting career. However, he was also one of the most controversial fighters of all time. Police have arrested Jones five times since 2012 for various criminal offences. Things got much worse for Bones in 2021. After the promotion inducted him into the HOF, Jones went out to party hard and ended up committing some grave offences under the influence of alcohol.
The police arrested him the same night for domestic violence, damage to a police vehicle, battery, and misdemeanors. Many lost respect for Jones following these incidents. Jones’ criminal records made his MMA achievements less worthy. The former UFC star Kay Hansen‘s tweet was an example of the same. She trolled ‘Bones’ for his notorious deeds; however, after 19 months, she accepts that he is indeed one of the greatest fighters of all time.

After the arrest of Jones on the very same day he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, Hansen took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Getting inducted into the UFC hall of fame one day then getting arrested the next is the most “Jon Jones” thing I’ve ever heard of“. However, things are quite different since Jones came back to the octagon after a hiatus of three long years. From the light-heavyweight division, Bones moved up to heavyweight and won the belt in a seemingly effortless manner. Bones and Ciryl Gane came face-to-face at UFC 285, and Jones won the fight via guillotine choke in just 2 minutes, 4 seconds into the first round.

The charges against Jon Jones
The first time Jones was arrested was for driving under the influence of alcohol. Following this, Jones committed yet another serious crime when he disobeyed the traffic signals and hit another car in which a pregnant woman was seated.
