The 25-year-old boxer recently revealed a six-man hit-list regarding his next opponent, which included Bisping. Consequently, ‘The Count’ joked that Paul might call out the old man punched by Conor McGregor at a bar in 2019.
The infamous incident from the Marble Arch Pub in Dublin saw ‘The Notorious’ plead guilty and pay a $1,000 fine.
Bisping used the incident to taunt Jake Paul, who he accused of cherry-picking easier fights against retired fighters like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Oscar De La Hoya.
“This came about because he started talking s**t and he said I’m on his hit list. You know who else is on his f*****g hit list? Oscar De La Hoya. A guy that fought about 145lbs that retired 18 years ago.”
“I don’t think he realizes that by calling out a 43-year-old fighter with no knees and one eye, I don’t know if he understood; don’t you understand, Jake, that you sound like such a little b****, a little p****?”
“He just needs to fight a boxer and stop calling out these guys. He started off with Ben Askren, who was 37 and coming off a hip replacement, then he went to Tyron Woodley who’s 40, who’s a wrestler with a right hand. Now he’s calling me out and Oscar De La Hoya. At this rate, the next person he boxes is gonna be the old guy that Conor McGregor punched in the bar!”
Michael Bisping said he respects Paul for bringing younger eyes to boxing, but he should fight a boxer of his own age and size.
Michael Bisping demands a Nate Diaz vs Conor McGregor fight
The Diaz brothers are back in the limelight. Nate Diaz, who has one fight left on his UFC deal, has been eager to compete for so long. Meanwhile, Nick Diaz’s coach Cesar Gracie recently revealed that the elder Diaz will fight this year.

This prompted Michael Bisping to suggest a blockbuster event. ‘The Count’ said that UFC should put both the brothers on the same card and Nate Diaz should fight McGregor. He emphasized the benefits of having a training partner in one’s brother who is fighting on the same night.

“I can only imagine what it’s like to go through to a training camp with your brother, who’s also fighting on the same night against Conor McGregor. That would be the main event. Nick Diaz versus a possible opponent in the co-main event. Come on, that would be incredible.”
With many fighters from the UFC top brass yet to fight this year, fans can expect something huge in the coming months. McGregor himself will return to the Octagon after recovering from a broken leg. Hence, it might be the perfect time for the UFC to make a trilogy fight between ‘The Notorious’ and Nate Diaz.
