“The unprecedented popularity of the Black Forge has encouraged us to look at many options for expansion, but there is no announcement to make,” McGregor’s spokesperson said.

Reportedly, the former UFC champion made a bid to buy JW Sweetman pub on Dublin’s Burgh Quay, which was previously owned by bankrupt billionaire Sean Quinn. However, McGregor lost it to the Mahon family, owners of the Pig N Whistle chain of pubs in New York. The family outbid the Irish celebrity by a whopping $5.5 million.

Nonetheless, the Dubliner, who is now worth over $200 million, is still developing as an entrepreneur. All in all, ‘The Notorious’ is succeeding in his endeavors outside of MMA. However, he is yet to find a spot in the green column in his fighting career.
