“205 vs 210”- Khabib Nurmagomedov Replies to Luke Rockhold’s Jibes After Making Quick Work of the Light Heavyweight

UFC Middleweight fighter Luke Rockhold has returned to the American Kickboxing Academy to prepare for his upcoming fight. While being at AKA, Rockhold has been training with Khabib Nurmagomedov. In an interview, Rockhold made a statement on Nurmagomedov’s size to which ‘The Eagle’ seemed to take a jibe.
It first started when Rockhold said in an interview, “He might be weighing more than Paulo Costa.” He further added, “He’s like perfect. If I can wrestle him yeah, easy-easy work with Paulo. So… you know, give Khabib a run for his money… He’s such a big boy, a man these days. Because I always had a weight advantage”.

Recently, Nurmagomedov on his Instagram story, uploaded a video of him grappling with Luke Rockhold. In the video, Nurmagomedov is controlling Rockhold on the ground. Nurmagomedov captioned the story saying, “205 vs 210. If you don’t know, now you know“.

Nurmagomedov left the sport at the peak of his career, retiring undefeated and as a champion. Since then, Nurmagomedov is still closely tied to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in different roles.

Nurmagomedov often coaches his teammates and accompanies them as their corner when they fight. He is also seen helping them train and prepare for their upcoming fight, just like how he is currently helping Luke Rockhold.
‘The Eagle’ has also donned the hat of a promoter with his promotion Eagle FC. Nurmagomedov seems to enjoy this new role, and it also looks like he is doing a good job with it. Moreover, the fighter turned promoter has already brought Eagle FC to the USA. The maiden North American card held in Miami saw names like Tyrone Spong and Sergei Kharitonov in action.
Whatever Nurmagomedov does, he does it to his absolute best. His fans and followers will be happy seeing that even after retirement, Nurmagomedov is involved in the sport of MMA, which will help the sport tremendously.
