The card referred to here is the iconic UFC on FOX: Dos Anjos vs. Cowboy 2. This event featured great matchups and saw some of today’s big names on the preliminary card. Current champions – Charles Oliveira, Francis Ngannou, Kamaru Usman, and Valentina Shevchenko secured wins in the event. Another big name who entered the octagon on the early prelims was Leon Edwards.

The main card featured three big fights. The first big fight was between Michael Johnson and Nate Diaz at lightweight. Diaz displayed his phenomenal striking skills, dominated the majority of the fight, and won a unanimous decision.
The next fight between Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem was a thriller to watch. The two traded blows and put their all into each strike. This bout ended with ‘The Demolition Man’ brutally knocking out Santos in round 2. The main event of the night featured Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos battling it out for the lightweight title.

The fight started slowly, with both the fighters feeling each other’s range. Things quickly went south for Cerrone as he was knocked out in the first minute of the first round. These fights and all the superstars in it made the card an all-time classic, in retrospect.
