Dana White has a net worth of $500 million USD and doesn’t think twice before investing in a muscle car. However, his dislike of electric cars was showcased in one of his Instagram stories.

Dana White chose the V8

Recently, The UFC president, Dana White, posted a story on his Instagram revealing his take on the era of electric cars. There was a question in the story, “When people ask why I bought a V8 and not an electric car?”

The reply came from the actor, Jensen Ackles, playing ‘Soldier Boy’ from the TV series, ‘The Boys’. The reply stated, “Because I’m not a p**sy.”

Dana White’s love for cars is reflected in his collection. His garage includes a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, Ferrari F430 and Testarossa, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, Bentley Continental GT, Cadillac Escalade ESV, 1969 Ford Bronco, 2012 Range Rover and a Land Rover Defender V8. He has received many others as generous gifts. These include a beautiful orange 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge and a Maybach van with ‘Howler Head’ printed over it.

The garage also houses motorcycles. Signing a sponsorship deal with Harley Davidson Motors, White’s collection had to have a Harley. He received a custom-made Harley Davidson with the logo of the UFC on the side. He even has a couple of bikes from Ducati and MV Agusta. 

However, when asked to choose between an electric car and a $200,000 USD Land Rover Defender V8, Dana White chose to ride the V8. Although electric cars are advertised as stylish and environment-friendly alternatives, White’s desires lie elsewhere. Doubtlessly, the UFC president absolutely loves and admires muscle cars.

It indeed was no surprise when he chose the V8. Said to deliver a torque of 461 lb-ft and packing an engine generating about 518 horsepower. The Defender V8 is a definite choice for any muscle car enthusiast.
