Alex Pereira, the prankster, got the ultimate payback from his family. The former middleweight champion has a sense of humor that often leaves his fans amused. If there’s one man in the UFC who can pull the funniest prank with the straightest face, it’s Alex Pereira. But this time around, the hunter became the hunted.

Recently, ‘Poatan’ pranked his mentor and coach with an expensive new ride. The video went viral and got reactions from people all around the world. Now, back home, his children tried to turn the game on its head by pranking him, and it surely did not go as planned.

Alex Pereira did not see that coming, now did he?

Pereira has two sons, Alessandro Vidal Silva and Lohan Vidal Silva, with his ex-wife. Although the parents have separated, the boys still seem to have their spirits up around their father. In a now-viral video that Pereira shared on Instagram, the kids pulled a prank on their prankster Dad in his own house.

The kids were prepared but not as prepared as they should’ve been. They turned off the lights and one of the boys put on a costume to try and scare the living daylights out of their father. Pereira walks into the frame after closing a door and as soon as his son jumps out, the former champ winds a punch.

A fighter inside and a fighter outside. Pereira did not find it funny at first and he was definitely not laughing. The kids didn’t feel the satisfaction they expected but they did manage to scare him all right. ‘Poatan’ later took to his Instagram and shared the video with the caption “Just had to post it! What crap, it’s just sh*t hahaha.” It was interesting to see how the tables turned on the famous prankster when it wasn’t the first time the fighter had gone viral for a prank.

Lamborghinis don’t come cheap. And so when his protege decided to gift one to him, UFC veteran Glover Teixeira was beyond overjoyed. Unfortunately for him, it was all just a facade. ‘Poatan’ was just messing around with the camera rolling. The car was his own but he played it off like it was another gift. When the video went out, Conor McGregor couldn’t help but laugh.

“Classic! Ya love to see it!” ‘The Notorious’ said after sharing the video on X. Clearly, Pereira still has some funny bones in him even after Ben Askren accused him of just about never dropping the stoic “gimmick”. His prank on his coach was believable because the fighter had previously gifted him a brand new Harley Davidson which was in Teixeira’s garage, even as the car prank went on. Their bond is amazing to watch on ringside and at home.
