Brendan Schaub, former UFC heavyweight fighter recently got candid online about his daughter’s medical condition. In a nutshell, his baby daughter, born in November of last year was making rounds to the hospital for her illness. In a post, he revealed that had to take a break from his public limelight and professional commitments as his daughter was set to undergo surgery.

As per the latest reports, her surgery was successful and Schaub could not be more grateful. In a heartfelt post, he thanked the fans, friends, and family who supported him throughout this tough phase and made an honest admission. Witnessing this, the fans made it a point to appreciate him and send their love.

In a post made by Schaub, he shared a picture of his daughter, Billie Isabel Schaub, post-surgery and stated, “Surgery was a success. I can’t express how much love and support my family felt from everyone. The internet from my experience is a dark awful place. My views have changed recently. The amount of prayers and positive thoughts sent didn’t go unnoticed. Can’t thank everyone individually but trust me I see it. Life is scary for a parent. Forever grateful for the team”

Before the surgery, the former UFC fighter had made a public statement about her daughter’s illness. At the time, it was not certain what the future held for him and his family. However, Conor McGregor assured him that all would be well with some words of encouragement and also mentioned he was sending his best wishes for a successful surgery. He stated, “Sending prayers and positive energy your way Brendan! Keep strong she has fighter genes.”
