Henry Cejudo cemented his position as a great fighter in the UFC within a very short time. Cejudo currently has a record of sixteen victories and three losses. His last bout against Aljamain Sterling was quite a crucial one for ‘Triple C.’ Unfortunately, he lost the bout after a back-and-forth battle. Cejudo decided to stay away from the UFC octagon after his victory against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. The bout took place on May 9, 2020. Soon after the bout, ‘The Messenger’ decided to leave the sport. However, he later changed his mind and returned to the UFC octagon. Cejudo and the UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, finally came face-to-face at UFC 288.

The bout was a highly close affair, and after five rounds, the judges scored in favor of ‘The Funk Master.’ However, many believed that Cejudo did his best even though he failed to outperform Sterling.
