Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill are ready to put everything on the line at UFC 300. The clash for the light heavyweight title on the historic card has been one of the most anticipated bouts by the MMA fandom. There is also history between the two men as Hill secured the vacant light-heavyweight title by defeating Pereira’s friend and mentor, Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 last year.

Ahead of their upcoming fight, Hill had also reached out to Pereira’s rival, Israel Adesanya for advice on how to deal with the dangerous ‘Poatan’. And at the recent face-off after the UFC 300 press conference, the intensity between the two has drawn an interesting response from none other than ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor!

However, the two men were all business at the UFC 300 press conference face-off as Hill showed up to the event with a ‘stone head’ in reference to Pereira. The stare-down between the two was also intense as both men appeared ready to go to war inside the Octagon.

Israel Adesanya breaks down his pick for UFC 300 light-heavyweight clash

On his official YouTube channel, ‘FREESTYLEBENDER’, former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya revealed that he is choosing Jamahal Hill as his pick to come out on top at UFC 300. Analyzing the fight dynamics, Adesanya anticipates a slow start to the fight with Pereira favoring leg kicks and Hill seeking to land his jab.

While acknowledging the challenge of avoiding Pereira’s leg kicks, Adesanya also hinted at Hill’s preparedness with undisclosed “remedies”, possibly referring to the interaction between him and ‘Sweet Dreams’ who had stated in a recent interview with Kevin Iole that Adesanya had ““provided some great insight” drawn from his own clashes against ‘Poatan’.

However, speaking about the outcome of the fight, he stated, “I’m going to go Jamahal by KO – I think it’s going to be in the first two and a half rounds.” And so, Adesanya’s forecast adds intrigue to the already highly anticipated UFC 300 event, as fans eagerly await to see if his prediction comes to fruition.
