UFC commentator Joe Rogan is a ‘jack of all trades’ kind of a person. Rogan is a martial artist, stand-up comedian, UFC commentator, and former host of Fear Factor. His experiences from his various career ventures make for interesting stories. One such story took shape when Joe Rogan appeared on Tom Segura’s 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast.

Rogan appeared as a guest ‘bear’ and was sitting in for Bert Kreischer. The episode kicked off with the two men discussing a physical contest between Joe Rogan and one of the staff on the show.

Joe Rogan talks about ‘hilarious’ arm-wrestling contest

In episode 152 of 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Tom Segura and Joe Rogan discussed the arm-wrestling competition Rogan had with a staff member of the show. According to Segura, one of his staff members claimed that he “can’t lose in arm-wrestling,” and wanted to challenge Rogan. Segura was more than happy to oblige and even bet a thousand dollars on Rogan.

Rogan won the contest effortlessly and had a laugh with Segura about the incident on the podcast. “Why was he so confident?”, Rogan inquired. Segura explained how the delusional individual said he could never lose if someone challenged him to something.

“It wasn’t even a little difficult. I let him try for a while,” said Rogan as he laughed the incident off with Segura. Segura added that the individual needed to be humbled.

Throwback to when Rogan taught GSP how to kick.

Joe Rogan’s martial arts skills and knowledge are absolutely legit. His conversation with the UFC legend Georges St-Pierre on the Joe Rogan Experience, proves how even the professionals value his opinions. In the clip, the two men discuss the technique behind the turning sidekick. Rogan and GSP attribute their difference in techniques to the difference in their martial art basics.

According to Rogan, it was because of GSP’s coach John Danaher that the pair ended up working together. Rogan explained how Danaher was asking Rogan for someone to help GSP with the fundamentals of the spinning back-kick. Rogan offered himself to help train GSP, as he was confident in his own technique. He also revealed to GSP that he stopped competing when he was 21.
