Many surging MMA fighters dream of fighting in the UFC under Dana White. Over the years, the company has grown to be the world’s biggest MMA promotion. However, to be a part of the UFC, one has to also impress the UFC president, Dana White. The pillar of the promotion, White has always had a keen eye for talent. And recently, one such talent called for his attention.

Recently, Cage Fury FC fighter Raheam Forest won a spectacular knockout victory against his opponent, Treston Vines. The 26-year-old currently has a record of seven victories and just one loss. Soon after the bout, instead of calling out another opponent in his current promotion, ‘Rambo’ chose to demand something from the UFC boss.

Raheam Forest calls out UFC President Dana White

Raheam Forest and Treston Vines came face-to-face at Cage Fury FC 121 at Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. The bout was over within 26 seconds as Forest landed a brutal knockout on his opponent. He went for 10 consecutive punches against vines. After the blitz combo, Vines lost his footing and fell down. Soon afterward, the referee interfered to save Vines from his mighty opponent.

 

The brutal knockout that happened within seconds mesmerized the fans. Forest and Vine headlined the event after Jose Perez vs. Chris Vasil was cancelled at the weigh-in. Instead of them, Forest and Vine were chosen to fight in the main event. Soon after his glorious victory, Forest called out the UFC president, Dana White.

He mentioned that he is ready to fight in the UFC now. The UFC boss is someone who gives chances to MMA fighters who are able to impress him with their extraordinary fighting skills.

Why do rising talents in MMA prefer the UFC?

Dana White is undoubtedly someone who makes sure that deserving candidates get an opportunity in the UFC. However, among MMA fighters, White has a reputation for playing hardball during negotiations. Recently, UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland said UFC should pay fighters better while speaking to Joe Rogan. After listening to Strickland, Rogan chose to support his friend Dana White. According to him, White paid fighters well when compared to boxing.

Moreover, the UFC is one of the highest-paying MMA promotions in the world. Hence, it is no wonder that a surging fighter wants to try his luck in the UFC, as both fame and money are involved.
