Conor McGregor always liked to challenge himself, but the latest challenge he has taken up may not go down well with the fans. Apparently, the Irishman briefly turned his attention to UFC legend Mark Coleman. To those unaware, Coleman is currently preparing to make a return to combat sports with a celebrity boxing match. Meanwhile, McGregor’s return to action will be against Michael Chandler. Irrespective of that fact, the 34-year-old managed to raise some eyebrows with a deleted tweet targeting Coleman.

‘The Notorious’ has a reputation for his social media shenanigans. The Irishman has notoriously beefed with several personalities on Twitter. He is also prone to making outlandish claims via his socials. Only this time, it was related to Coleman.

Conor McGregor recently shared a picture of himself on his social media. In the snap, ‘The Notorious’ was standing on his boat with two dumbbells raised above his head. As he was trying to show off his physique, one fan decided to share something that had caught his eye.

In the comments, a fan shared a screenshot of McGregor’s response to Mark Coleman’s return news. ‘Mystic Mac’ had left a comment that read, “Challenge accepted!” in response to the Coleman news.

Additionally, McGregor had fired back at Canelo Alvarez after some recent talks about a hypothetical boxing bout between the pair.

While McGregor may have been having fun on Twitter. Coleman is serious about a return to fighting. The 58-year-old has been sharing his health updates via social media, but fans are concerned about the UFC legend.

In a recently surfaced video, we see Coleman shadowboxing. Age had evidently taken a toll on the first-ever UFC heavyweight champion’s body. But the competitive spirit in him was very much alive and burning. Coleman had been consistently taking an effort to maintain sobriety and improve his physical health. While he has been successful at both, many fans believe that getting back to fighting is a bad idea for ‘The Hammer.’

‘Bloody Elbow’ shared the clip with the announcement of his comeback for a celebrity boxing match. However, fans in the comment section were adamant against it, having seen the short clip of his shadowboxing.
