Potential matchups at UFC 300

We know that most of the fighters have agreed to fight in the card but only a few fighters will get the opportunity to be a part of that event. Several sources, including former UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion Henry Cejudo, have confirmed that the rematch between welterweight champion Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad is in the works. Their bout may be excellent but it lacks the persona to be the main event of this UFC 300.

Alex Pereira might be up against the former champion Jamahal Hill, although Hill’s recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon, expected to last until the second quarter of 2024, could pose a challenge. A UFC 300 comeback for Hill is on the table, but it could be a bit rushed for him, especially when facing someone of Pereira’s caliber. However, a fight between Tom Aspinall and Pereira can happen as both the fighters have made cryptic comments about it but it is still a speculation.
