Conor McGregor is all fired up ahead of his highly anticipated comeback. Fight fans around the world have been waiting impatiently for his return, which has been painfully delayed. However, the realization of this long-awaited comeback is now in jeopardy due to McGregor’s recent tussle with USADA and his other external shenanigans. These incidents have left fans worried about the potentiality of the fight happening this year.
Nevertheless, despite all the uncertainties surrounding his return, ‘The Notorious’ remains determined to dominate in the octagon once again. Recently, he boldly stated his intention to claim the UFC record for the most knockouts. This record is tied between Matt Brown and Derrick Lewis, who have 13 KOs each in their resume. And McGregor aims to surpass them and make it his own.

However, retired UFC fighter Ben Askren couldn’t resist casting doubt on McGregor’s pursuit of this record. With a rather snide remark, Askren questioned whether McGregor’s boastful claims would come to fruition.

Additionally, his recent record hasn’t been favorable, as he finds himself on a two-fight losing streak. The last time McGregor tasted victory was in 2020 against Donald Cerrone.
On the other hand, ‘The Notorious’ will now appear coaching for the second time in the 31st installment of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ against his touted comeback opponent, Michael Chandler. The recent snippets released from the show promise an intense and riveting season.
