Dana White makes a new title bout
The next in line for the title fight is the former light heavyweight champion, Glover Teixeira. The original title fight was between him and Jiri Prochazka at the main event of UFC 283. However, the UFC boss is expected to give the title shot to Glover Teixeira as early as UFC 283 pay-per-view in Rio de Janeiro. Helen Yee was one of the first people to report the news.

Texeira is expected to face Jamahal Hill for the vacant title. Jamahal Hill is on a three-fight win streak and will be looking to win the championship.
Dana White makes the wish come true
UFC President Dana White has made the wish of the former light heavyweight champion come true. Glover Teixeira wanted to fight for the next light heavyweight title match. White made an ideal scenario for the Brazilian as he gets the bout in his native country. Teixeira will be looking to secure a win and become UFC light heavyweight champion for the second time.
On the other hand, Jamahal Hill was calling for a title bout with Anthony Smith on his Twitter account. White partially fulfilled Hill’s wish as he is about to get a match against Teixeira.

UFC 282 was a belter and brought a fitting end to the calendar year. The pay-per-view event brought an exciting twist to the light heavyweight championship. The title is still up for grabs and it promises to have fireworks. Dana White brings Brazil’s former champion back to his country and supporters wish to see Teixeira being a champion once again.
