The UFC authorities have provided quite a number of enthralling events for the fans this year. Although the initial PPV of 2023, the UFC 283, turned out to be a lackluster one, the following PPVs reclaimed their glory with massive crowd attendances. The series of enthraller events started with UFC 284, which presented an absolute war between Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev in the main event. However, a number of UFC fans might agree that the UFC 287, featuring Adesanya’s enticing knockout victory over his archrival Alex Pereira, was also one of the biggest PPVs of this year. But, we must not forget that the second half of the year is yet to arrive. For the end half of the year too, Dana White and the UFC authorities have probably decided to give it all to the fans.

The coveted scrap between Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson in 2002 was when I realized the passion for combat sports within my family. My interest in combat sports began watching scripted pro wrestling shows. It was my father who directed me towards combat sports and it wasn’t until the late 2010s that I discovered the world of MMA and the UFC. Like many of you, I too, tuned in for the infamous Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor bout live on October 6, 2018. Being an ardent fan of the UFC (and Dustin ‘The Diamond’ Poirier), I was always looking to have conversations about the same with others.
