UFC president Dana White has not had it easy with his Power Slap venture. However, his unwavering efforts may have paid some dividends. In a recent announcement via his social media, the 53-year-old revealed some ambitious future plans for Power Slap. He also shared some insights he gained from Season 1 of the controversial slap competition with a doubtful fan. Recently, the UFC head honcho admitted that his New Year’s eve controversy may have hindered the success of Power Slap. However, that was not all. The former NASC chairman also came forward recently, stating his regret for sanctioning the league.

Despite all these events, White managed to see the maiden season through to the end with the finale airing this past weekend. Furthermore, he is not letting these hurdles stop his venture.

The UFC boss announced plans for the future seasons of Power Slap via his Instagram. Suffice it to say that White sounds as enthusiastic and adamant as ever in promoting Power Slap.

Dana White makes a huge Power Slap announcement

On his Instagram page, Dana White posted a video announcing the details of seasons 2 and 3 of Power Slap. With the backlash and lackluster numbers that haunted season 1, his decision to continue might surprise fans. However, White states that he had been doing the groundwork for the show all throughout the maiden season.

In the announcement, White stated that Rumble, where the finale aired, will be the exclusive home for the second and third seasons of Power Slap.

He stated, “It’s official everybody. Rumble is now the exclusive home of Power Slap. Season 2 and 3 of Road to the Title will air there and we’re also gonna do eight live events over the next two years with Rumble.” He also gave the directions to access Rumble, adding everybody in the world could use it.

In the caption to the clip, he wrote, “Saturday night was a MASSIVE success! Thanks to everyone who tuned in. It’s official, Rumble @rumblecreators is now the EXCLUSIVE home of @powerslap.”

Under the post, one user commented, “who watches regular tv unless it’s sports lol.”

In response, White wrote, “old people, that’s who. This whole thing was a great test study for me. I have LOVED every minute of this. Gonna do some FUN sh*t over the next 2 years.”

It seems like Dana White has made some observations from the maiden season and will put those to good use for the future of Power Slap.
