Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya’s rivalry appears to be far from over. The rivalry appeared to have hit pause after Adesanya’s win over Pereira at UFC 287. However, the latest antics from the Brazilian suggest he is ready to get the ball rolling again.

Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira last fought each other at UFC 287. ‘Stylebender’ claimed the night as he knocked out ‘Poatan’ in the second round to reclaim his UFC middleweight title. Adesanya had lost it to Pereira just five months prior.

With the win, the pair are 1-1 in the UFC. However, Perera is 3-1 up against Adesanya from their four career meetings, two of which were in kickboxing.

There is a demand for a trilogy fight between the pair. However, that has been put on hold as Pereira announced his next fight at lightweight. But that does not seem to have stopped him from trolling his rival.

Pereira and Adesanya were both in Australia, as their recent social media activities can confirm. While there, the two UFC stars visited rival rugby teams’ camps.. This has left fans wondering if Pereira is at it again.

The Brazilian had hilarious pre-fight antics that would entertain the fans and irk the champion. Now, Pereira seems to be returning fire after he visited the Rugby team Melbourne Storm on the home ground. What makes it interesting is that Adesanya had trained with their supposed rivals, the New Zealand Warriors. just days before Pereira’s visit. The champion also visited the Warriors’ clash against the Brisbane Broncos, another one of Storm’s rivals.
