Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira last fought each other at UFC 287. ‘Stylebender’ claimed the night as he knocked out ‘Poatan’ in the second round to reclaim his UFC middleweight title. Adesanya had lost it to Pereira just five months prior.

With the win, the pair are 1-1 in the UFC. However, Perera is 3-1 up against Adesanya from their four career meetings, two of which were in kickboxing.

There is a demand for a trilogy fight between the pair. However, that has been put on hold as Pereira announced his next fight at lightweight. But that does not seem to have stopped him from trolling his rival.

Pereira and Adesanya were both in Australia, as their recent social media activities can confirm. While there, the two UFC stars visited rival rugby teams’ camps.. This has left fans wondering if Pereira is at it again.

Is Alex Pereira trolling Israel Adesanya again?

Part of what the Israel Adesanya-Alex Pereira rivalry so entertaining was Pereira’s constant trolling of Adesanya. The Brazilian had hilarious pre-fight antics that would entertain the fans and irk the champion. Following the win, it was Adesanya’s turn to return years’ worth of trolling and he made the most of it.

Now, Pereira seems to be returning fire after he visited the Rugby team Melbourne Storm on the home ground. What makes it interesting is that Adesanya had trained with their supposed rivals, the New Zealand Warriors. just days before Pereira’s visit. The champion also visited the Warriors’ clash against the Brisbane Broncos, another one of Storm’s rivals.

Fans are speculating that Pereira is reigniting the ultimate hating game with this gesture.

Some fans were of the opinion that the defeat to Adesanya is still on his mind.

Meanwhile, some others took issue with Pereira’s obsession with Adesanya and asked him to move on.

One fan said that the antics are no longer entertaining after his convincing loss to ‘Stylebender.’

Some other fans rallied behind Adesanya and claimed that the two-time UFC middleweight champion was Pereira’s ticket to stardom. They were also happy that Adesanya finally knocked out his bully at UFC 287.
