The hyped up fight between the billionaires, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, has taken over the internet. Recently, at the press conference for UFC 290, prior to his fight against Robert Whittaker, Dricus du Plessis also revealed his thoughts about the MMA bout between the billionaires. Like many others, ‘Stillknocks’ knew that the bout would be massive indeed.

Although Zuckerberg and Musk kept dropping hints that they were serious about fighting each other, the Tesla CEO made it obvious after training with Georges St-Pierre. Furthermore, the Italian government had also proposed to let the rich men fight like gladiators and host the fight at the prestigious Colosseum, in Rome.  

Dricus Du Plessis opines to the fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg

Du Plessis is all set to go against ‘The Reaper’ and make a stand inside the Octagon at UFC 290. During a recent press conference, ‘Stillknocks’ was asked to give his opinion on his billionaire countrymate’s fight.

du Plessis was a bit taken aback. With a heart filled with amusement, the fighter replied, “That’s interesting! I think, I think it’s gonna be… It’ll obviously be massive but I don’t know. What do you say? It’s something like that. I mean, I guess we’ll just see. It’ll be massive, but it’ll be cool to see what they can manage to, to do. I guess, the technology and the training will be next level.”

Du Plessis seemed to stumble with words after the journalist threw the question at him. Nevertheless, his belief that the fight would be massive, aligned with the entire world of mixed martial arts. He further opined that the technology and training regime for the billionaires would be, in fact, on the next level.

With the friction between the tech billionaires rising exponentially, the entropy amongst the fans and professionals has also begun to rise. However, the world of mixed martial arts stood with a gaping mouth when an Instagram post by GSP hit the feed.

In the post, St-Pierre stood together with Musk, Lex Fridman, and John Danaher in the frame. The picture seemed to have been taken during Musk’s training regime with GSP. The post received a shipload of attention from the entire globe as the fans lay in anticipation of the fight.
