After Revealing the Truth Behind Conor McGregor’s Return, Michael Chandler Makes His Wish Clear About Fighting on Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg Undercard

Michael Chandler hit the jackpot when he got to coach against UFC superstar Conor McGregor in the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter. The UFC has decided that soon after the bout, Chandler and McGregor will lock horns in the UFC octagon. There is still no clarity if the bout may come to fruition or not, as ‘The Notorious’ crossed the deadline to enter the USADA testing pool. The Irishman should have entered the testing pool at least six months before his bout against Chandler. As McGregor failed to do that, many believe that the bout between the two will never take place.

On the other hand, Chandler is fully confident that he will fight the UFC superstar. The former three-time lightweight Bellator champion believed that McGregor would not take things this far if he did not intend to return to the UFC octagon. Recently, McGregor himself came forward to reveal that he will fight against Chandler in December. Now, Chandler not only wishes to fight the UFC superstar but also to fight under the same card as the tech billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. The two businessmen have called each other out recently. ‘Iron’ is way too excited about their clash and also wants to be a part of the grand spectacle.

Michael Chandler expresses his wish

UFC lightweight star Michael Chandler was talking in an interview with TMZ Sports. During the conversation, he mentioned that he is excited about the bout between the Twitter CEO and Meta CEO. Chandler said, “Fighting is the purest, the purest form of sport. So these guys going out there if they do when they do. I’m tuning in. Heck, I’d love to be on that card. I will definitely be there, no matter what. I’m either fighting on that card or I’m gonna be sitting there cage side because I want to watch it.“

During the same interview, Chandler also added that the reason the bout between Zuckerberg and Musk is special is that people want to watch it. He said that the entire world knows about these two billionaires and the change they brought to the world. According to Chandler, it would be interesting to watch Zuckerberg and Musk lock horns, as they are already challenging each other in the tech world.

‘Iron’ further went on to say that even if it’s a gimmick fight, the entire world would love to see that. A few weeks ago, when asked about who would win the battle, Chandler mentioned the Meta CEO, Zuckerberg, would win the bout if only skill were considered. He added that if only skill were considered, Zuckerberg would win the bout, but if they took size into account, Musk could come out on top.
