Israel Adesanya has created shockwaves in the UFC world after his picture-perfect win at UFC 287. The two-time UFC champion is not short of opponents as the stacked middleweight division waits for its turn to have a run at the middleweight crown. Adesanya also made it clear about Alex Pereira not getting a rematch and subsequent trilogy next, as the champion moves ahead with the competition.

However, a blast from the past has made its way back after Adesanya’s recent win. A former opponent has called out Israel Adesanya on social media and the new champ might be interested in taking revenge for his loss.

Jan Blachowicz calls out former opponent Israel Adesanya after UFC 287
The former UFC light heavyweight champion had a message for his rival, Adesanya. The Polish fighter posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the message. He wrote, “Middleweight in progress. First step – condition.”

It seems that the former UFC light heavyweight champion wants a run at Adesanya at 185 pounds this time. It will be interesting to see if ‘The Last Stylebender’ takes up this challenge, as Blachowicz is the only fighter that Adesanya has faced and never defeated in MMA.
