The pair has not moved on from each other yet and the fans could have witnessed them at UFC 300 next. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen revealed the exact details in his recent podcast. 

While speaking to ‘DC’, Sonnen said, “Daniel, he called for a match in three weeks. He was not kidding. He’s been calling for this match three weeks away from 300 for the last month. This isn’t a joke. This isn’t for attention. He will go up to Heavyweight and he will challenge Aspinall if they will give him the opportunity. As a matter of fact, to get on the card Saturday night UFC 300 that we’re discussing right now, partner. He offered his longtime nemesis Adesanya a number one contendership if he wanted to come up. It would be fun to fight a guy for a thousandth time. Could you even imagine that? “

During his recent UFC 300 post fight press conference White shared his opinion. He said, “So when you think about him [Alex Pereira] moving up to heavyweight, you know, you got Jones, you got Aspinall, and the list goes on and on in that heavyweight division. The heavyweight division is nasty, I don’t know if that’s the right move for him,” He further added that the champion looked absolutely dominating in his division and should stay there.
