Joanne Calderwood signs contract extension with the UFC
‘Jojo‘ has reportedly signed an extension with the UFC. She is tied in a new multi-fight deal with the promotion. Calderwood is one of the most prominent stars of the flyweight division. She will look to eventually challenge for the title in the near future.
The last loss against Murphy was a big setback for Calderwood. Murphy is now challenging for the belt against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 266. Given it was a split decision against her, will further hurt Calderwood.

But, with a win against Grasso, the flyweight contender can certainly bounce back into contention. However, it will be easier said than done. Grasso displayed the full arsenal of her skillset in her last fight against Barber. She will be determined to once again prove her mettle as one of the top contenders of the 125 lbs division of the UFC.
