Alexander Volkanovski Shuts Down Salty Max Holloway Fan With a Witty Reply: “A Bald Aussie Who Has Already Beat Him Twice??”

Alexander Volkanovski shuts down Twitter troll who tried to downplay his skills with a quick and witty reply.

Ever since Conor McGregor was stripped off of his title, it was Max Holloway who took hold of the featherweight division. After that, the Aussie Alexander Volkanovski toppled Holloway’s reign over the division. And not only did he beat ‘Blessed’ to win the title, but ‘The Great’ also defeated Holloway in an instant rematch.

However, it wasn’t enough to convince fight fans of his superior skills. As some salty fans kept trolling Volkanovski over his reaction to Holloway trying to return as a replacement for his title defense at UFC 273.

“@BlessedMMA wants to be the backup fighter for the fight he was originally scheduled to fight.Man facepalming so in other words…he was never injured. Just hoping he doesn’t have to fight me or fight me while I’m preparing for someone…but hey “if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying”Smiling face with open mouth and tightly-closed eyes…NO,” ‘The Great’ wrote on Twitter.

“I think It’s gonna take a little more than a bald Aussie to scare Max,” a fan wrote in reply.

Meanwhile, Volkanovski did have some humor in his arsenal and shot away some facts at a salty Holloway fan, “Ok…A bald Aussie who has already beat him twice??”

When is Alexander Volkanovski fighting next?

Alexander ‘The Great’ Volkanovski will fight Chan Sung Jung at the fourth UFC pay-per-view event of the year, UFC 273: Volkanovski vs. The Korean Zombie. The fight card will take place on April 9, 2022.

Volkanovski was originally supposed to take on Holloway in a trilogy fight, but Holloway pulled out of the fight early because of an injury. However, now, ‘Blessed’ has showcased his interest in returning as a replacement for the aforementioned fight. Much to the amusement of Volkanovski.

Sung Jung will be Volkanovski’s 3rd title defense after Max Holloway and Brian Ortega.
