Ali Abdelaziz, Who Manages Khabib & Usman, Showers Praise on UFC Champion for Hyping His Client

In order to succeed in the sport of MMA, it is important for a fighter to have an excellent manager. One of the most famous managers in the MMA world right now is Ali Abdelaziz. He manages the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Kamaru Usman, to name a few. Abdelaziz is known to do the best for his clients. Recently, the famous manager tweeted to show appreciation towards the UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling.

It all started when @bjpenndotcom tweeted, “Aljamain Sterling says UFC featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov previously rag dolled him in training. #UFC #MMA” 

Abdelaziz appreciated comments Sterling made about his client Zabit Magomedsharipov. Abdelaziz, in a retweet, said, “@funkmasterMMA Is the real one takes so much confidence to talk like that Respect do you.

While Abdelaziz showed his love and appreciation on Twitter, the manager also made a bold statement involving his client Kamaru Usman.

Kamaru Usman has proved his dominance in the welterweight division of the UFC. Seeking a new challenge, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ once revealed he had considered moving up to the UFC light heavyweight division.

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has a good friendship with the UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. Hence, Usman was willing to skip the middleweight division and was considering a move to the light heavyweight division. Speaking about it, Usman said, “I was going to skip Israel and go fight Jan at 205. Because I’m pound-for-pound, I want to prove it. No matter what weight it is, I thought he was a really good matchup for me.

However, the light heavyweight title since then has changed hands. Jiri Prochazka is the current light heavyweight champion after he beat Glover Teixeira in a fight for the ages. However, Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz believes Usman holds the capability of beating both Prochazka and Teixeira.

In a tweet, Abdelaziz said, “I just rewatched the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, I believe @USMAN84kg will beat Jiri, Jan and Glover. Not talking trash, but this is real.

This statement from Abdelaziz is a very bold one to make. While the prospect of such a fight might excite the fans, Kamaru Usman will look to focus on the target at hand. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ will face Leon Edwards at UFC 278.
