UFC middleweight, Cody Brundage is set to take on rising superstar Bo Nickal at the biggest UFC event of the decade, UFC 300. Bo Nickal is undefeated since he joined the UFC in 2022, with a 5-0 MMA record. Many hold high expectations of Nickal to be a future champion in the UFC. Meanwhile, his opponent Cody Brundage, has had a quiet career inside the octagon as compared to his opponent at UFC 300, but he is no walkover.

Cody Brundage made his debut in the promotion against Nick Maximov at UFC 266 in September 2021. The middleweight fighter holds a record of 10 wins with 5 losses. Brundage was an accomplished wrestler in high school and college, while also participating in other sports, such as football and swimming. It’s not surprising to see Brundage compete in more than one sport as he comes from an athletic family.

His mother was on the US Olympic Biathlon team and his father was part of the US Special Forces. The 29-year-old has siblings who are also gifted athletes in their own rights – his youngest brother played lacrosse. Brundage also has a younger sister who plays soccer at the D-1 level.

Cody Brundage is married to a former UFC fighter and Ultimate Fighter season 23 finalist, Amanda Brundage. The two have a sweetheart of a daughter named Kingsley. Befitting her name, Kingsley seems to be the greatest strength for the UFC middleweight.

Kingsley battles with a rare condition called ALG13, which is a very rare condition that causes epilepsy and seizures. However, despite this, both father and daughter share the same fighting spirit, as both father and daughter are respectable fighters in their own rights.
