In 2021, Ciryl Gane began his acting career by playing the role of ‘Douanier #2’ in the French action-comedy movie The Misadventures of Hedi and Cokeman. In K.O., Gane played an MMA fighter who gets tangled with the police in his quest to bring justice to his murdered brother. As the story unfolds, it delves into Bastien’s past, exploring how he battled the trauma of his last fight while staying determined to avenge his brother’s death. The 90-minute film delivers intense drama and gripping action that keep viewers hooked.

However, when it comes to Gane’s role in Den of Thieves: Pantera, not much is known apart from the fact that he played the character ‘Pape’ and shared the screen with former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping, who portrayed ‘Connor.’ Well, the fans say, the heavyweight title challenger’s role may be short, but it leaves a strong impact in the movie.

From UFC to Film – Gane’s expanding career as an action star

In the UFC, the Frenchman has earned a reputation as one of the most athletic heavyweights ever. It’s true that Ciryl Gane has faced some turbulence in his career, as capturing the gold belt has eluded him so far.  But he has also faced Jon Jones in the Octagon and fought Francis Ngannou—two of the best fighters in the world. So, calling ‘Bon Gamin’ a highly accomplished fighter isn’t a stretch at all.

As a martial artist, Gane has mastered discipline as an art, and he found the same truth in acting. In one of his LinkedIn posts, he perfectly explained how focus and mental strength—skills he developed as a fighter — helped him become a better actor. On the flipside, he also mentioned that learning storytelling has helped him express himself more effectively inside the UFC, too.

So, at last, we can actually say that Ciryl Gane clearly has two remarkable careers — one as a martial artist and the other as an actor. And it’s quite certain that once he finishes fighting, he will shine next on the silver screen.  That said, let us know what you think about ‘Bon Gamin’s acting career in the comments below.
