Colby Covington is arguably one of the most coveted names in the UFC. The American fights in the Welterweight Division of the UFC and is also a former Interim Welterweight Champion. He is known for his strong ground game in the Octagon and brash talking on the mic. One of the most bitter rivalries Covington had in the UFC was with the ‘BMF’, Jorge Masvidal. The fight between ‘Gamebred’ and ‘Chaos’ at UFC 272 garnered massive public attention. Covington also managed to get the better of Masvidal in this showdown and won the bout via decision.

Covington is also known for his unique videos. He often posts these videos on his social media handles in order to take a shot at his various adversaries. Most of the short videos feature him in his grand lifestyle talking about the issue while being surrounded by a few swimwear-clad ladies.

Recently, ‘Chaos’ uploaded one more such video on his Instagram profile, which received whopping responses from his followers and other Instagram users. The video was a promotional one. It showcased him with two other ladies in similar attire.

Colby Covington turning into Santa Claus had the fans enthralled

Covington appeared in a Santa Claus outfit in the video. He also pulled out gift boxes and gifted them to the ladies in the video. Those gift boxes displayed special promo codes to avail discounts and deals on the app that ‘Chaos’ was promoting.

He captioned his post, “Tis the season for WINNING @realmybookie! Colby Claus has loaded up his sleigh with picks for the people! Enjoy betting the last ufc card of the year, the World Cup finals, NFL, NHL, NBA and more this weekend at MyBookie!”

This video caught the attention of a lot of Instagram users who gave out their opinion in the comments. The noted UFC woman Bantamweight fighter, Priscila Cachoeira, was visibly impressed as she commented on Covington‘s video with four ‘clapping’ emojis.

Covington also implied that France was going to win the highly anticipated finals of the FIFA World Cup between them and Argentina. He also gifted a gift box to one of the ladies which had ‘FRANCE’ written on it. A lot of fans agreed with Covington in this regard.

Fans called out Covington for inactivity and lured him to fight Khamzat Chimaev

Not all fans were pleased to see this video from Covington. A few of them accused him of not fighting for quite a while. Others had made their pick for Covington‘s next opponent and asked him to fight the dangerous UFC Welterweight, Khamzat Chimaev.

One of the fans mentioned, “Why don’t you fight bro?”.

Another one wrote, “When’s your next fight?”.

Also, a few others brought up ‘Borz’ in the comments writing, “Bruh just fight @khamzat_chimaev”.

Covington‘s videos also received replies about the main event of the last UFC Fight Night of 2022. Covington had predicted Jared Cannonier as the victor in his bout against Sean Strickland which ultimately proved to be true. But, the video received replies from both types of fans, ones who were in favor of Covington‘s pick and also the ones who were against his pick.

One fan wrote, “Strickland wins” going against his pick; while another one agreed, commenting, “Sean is getting ko’ed”.
