Tim Elliott beat Victor Altamirano at UFC Vegas 74. UFC veteran Tim Elliott faced Victor Altamirano on the main card of UFC Fight Night Kara-France vs. Albazi. The 36-year-old went the full three- rounds and earned a unanimous decision against ‘El Magnifico.’

Elliott had been in the middle of a controversy after he recently opened up about his family troubles. However, the 36-year-old turned it all around with a statement performance at UFC Vegas 74. He kept his place in the top 15 and returned to winning ways.

Elliott put on an all-round performance against his Mexican foe. The 36-year-old came into the fight having lost two out of his last five. He was coming off a win from UFC 272 and wanted to put together a streak. Meanwhile, the 2-1 UFC star Altamirano looked to do the same.

Tim Elliott established his dominance from the get-go at UFC Vegas 74. The veteran landed significant shots and scored multiple takedowns to earn the unanimous decision. Further, he tied flyweight legend Demetrious Johnson for the most takedowns in the division with 58 of those to his name.

Fans on Twitter had some interesting reactions to that performance from Elliott. Not all of them had good things to say about the UFC veteran. Man of them condemned the approach Elliott took to the fight.

Meanwhile, some other well-wishers were happy to see him get a win after his recent familial issues involving ex-UFC star Kevin Croom came to light.

Suffice it to say, while a lot of fans were happy to see Elliott get the win, not all of them were impressed with his performance.
