Jose Aldo is a veteran MMA fighter who currently competes in the UFC’s bantamweight division. ‘Junior’ has been a professional MMA fighter since 2004, and is now all set to face Pedro Munhoz at the UFC 265  co-main event. The former 3-time UFC featherweight champion is currently No.5  in the UFC bantamweight rankings and will look to add another title to his resume.

In his last fight, Aldo defeated Marlon Vera to finally win a fight after 3 consecutive losses. Aldo currently has an MMA record of (29-7), however before his loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 194, his record was (25-1). At one point Aldo was undefeated for over a decade and had a winning streak of 18 fights.

Aldo’s first love was football, and his father was an avid supporter of the same. His mother, Rocilene Socorro Souza, was the family’s backbone and was instrumental in his achieving his dreams.

Jose Aldo is married to fellow fighter Vivianne Aldo since 2005. The couple first met each other at a dojo in Rio and have since been together. We can always spot Vivianne Aldo at ringside whenever Aldo is competing in a fight. Aldo has often spoken about how during his recent tough times, his wife has been his biggest support.

Vivianne Aldo is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter and holds a blue belt in the same. She has also fought in a couple of Muay-Thai fights in her career. The pair gave birth to a beautiful daughter Joanna Aldo in 2012.

While much is not known about their daughter, Vivianne Aldo once revealed that Joanna loves to watch his father fight. Vivianne Aldo also once talked about how her daughter is interested in ballet dancing, makeup, and cosmetics.
