A fighter’s diet is one of the most important things in his life. It’s the source of his energy, and it helps him maintain a healthy body type. Hence, several UFC fighters employ nutritionists to help them with their ideal diet and help them take a step above the rest of the competition. UFC lightweight superstar Tony Ferguson is no different as he employs a steady and healthy diet.

Ferguson has never missed weight in his entire career, and he is very strict with his diet. He tries to cook his own food when he gets the chance. He also includes plenty of fruits and vegetables with every dish. In addition to this, Ferguson also eats some egg whites, boiled chicken, and brown rice. It’s all very healthy food with no ingredients that might interfere with his health.

In terms of his general diet, though, it is more relaxed and allows for bigger portions. This provides him with extra calories to grow his muscles and have the energy for training.

Additionally, ‘El Cucuy’ takes his fellow lightweight Dustin Poirier’s words by heart and keeps himself hydrated at all times. He might also drink some green tea if he wants to speed up his thermogenesis and metabolism. However, he drinks fluids that are rich in electrolytes and avoids any sugary drinks that might harm him.
