Belal Muhammad ended 2021 with 3 wins and 1 NC. Recently, he’s coming off a win against #5 welterweight Stephen Thompson. After this win, ‘Remember the name’ wants to fight some of the biggest fighters in the division. Now, Muhammad has directed his crosshairs at the 170-pounds elites, which include Jorge Masvidal, Colby Covington, and the champion Kamaru Usman.

In a recent interview with TMX Sports, Muhammad revealed that if he doesn’t get a title shot, the next best thing would be Colby Covington. He made the case for a fight against ‘Chaos’ as he has been trying for it for the last 10 years.

“The fight I would want to punch is that like I always want to hit Colby in the face. I’ve been calling for that fight for like ten years now. Obviously, big name, value fight.”

The primary reason for the fight is Muhammad’s hatred towards Covington. As the current #5 wants nothing but to ‘Punch’ Covington in the face.
