Belal Muhammad ended 2021 with 3 wins and 1 NC. Recently, he’s coming off a win against #5 welterweight Stephen Thompson. After this win, ‘Remember the name’ wants to fight some of the biggest fighters in the division. “The fight I would want to punch is that like I always want to hit Colby in the face. I’ve been calling for that fight for like ten years now. Like even before he was a higher up there, before he was in the ranking, before he was all this. I just disliked that guy. I hated that guy. So, I would always want to punch him in the face. Obviously, big name, value fight.”

The primary reason for the fight is Muhammad’s hatred towards Covington. As the current #5 wants nothing but to ‘Punch’ Covington in the face.

Recently, Covington is coming out of a thrilling 5-rounder against the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ Kamaru Usman. Covington holds a professional record of 16-3 and is the current #1 contender in the division.
