2021 will stage several exciting fights in the UFC as January will begin with a massive PPV in UFC 257, headlined by Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier.

While 2020 was a tough-calender for the entire promotion, Dana White and his team still kept the show running and 2021 looks alluring at this point.

That said, the UFC fighters and superstars are in the perfect position to kick off the year. It’s already the new year, and the fighters didn’t restrict themselves to their hardcore training on this special day.

UFC and the new year

Dana White will begin the year at Abu Dhabi in Yas Island, where UFC will possibly host 3 events in January. The first event will be UFC Fight Night, headlined by Max Holloway vs Calvin Kattar.

The second event was scheduled with a headliner between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev. However, Chimaev is out of the contest and Edwards will need a new opponent to put on a show.
