Kayla Harrison just made her debut in the UFC and on boy what a debut it was. The 2-time Olympic gold medalist took Holly Holms in a spiral of torture at the UFC 300 to win her inaugural fight. Harrison started her MMA journey in the PFL by dominating everyone in her division and seems like ‘Doug’ is about to do the same to the UFC as well.

From the very first round, Harrison knew what she had to do to subdue the former bantamweight champion. ‘Doug’ never let Holms have any control of their fight. ‘Doug’ threw enough elbows at Holm in the first round that the former champion had to rethink her approach to counter her, however, her attempt failed when Harrison used the rear-naked choke for the finish in the second round. Harrison’s performance caught the attention of former UFC fighter, Derek Brunson who took to X to state that he would like to witness a match between her and Raquel Pennington.
