MMA fans will remember UFC 274 for a lot of things, but the one thing that stayed as a highlight is Tony Ferguson’s knockout by Michael Chandler. Chandler knocked out Ferguson with a front kick to the face in the second round. While the entire MMA community reacted to this knockout, Conor McGregor did not just react, but also took credit for it.

Taking to his Twitter account, McGregor shared an image from his UFC debut, where he fought Marcus Brimage. McGregor captioned the tweet saying. “I was the first to start football punt kicks to the face of standing opponents. This is my debut. I call it the “over the bar” kick.”

In another Tweet, McGregor refuted the claims of his kick being like that of Anderson Silva. Instead, he considered his kick to be a good old fashion Tom Brady bread. McGregor, in his tweet, said, “Ah Anderson’s was different his was karate. Mine was good owl fashion American football Irish rugby Tom Brady bread.”

Sharing another tweet, McGregor this time added an image of his kick to Brimage along with Anderson Silva’s front kick to Vitor Belfort. McGregor captioned it, saying, “There you, go clear as day. Anderson Textbook karate technique. McGregor big punt of a football, fuck tkd I tote a 44, Richer than quarterbacks.”

In his tweet, Oliveira said, “Just for the record, I like to break records and I want to break another one… Fighting twice in the same night. I can knock Conor out, and make Dias tap. What do you think @danawhite?”
