Jorge Masvidal vs. Colby Covington is one of the most personal rivalries in combat sports history. Both men, at one point, were best friends and roommates. They trained at the same gym and even cornered each other for their fights. However, that is not at all the case anymore.

Things turned sour between the former American Top Team teammates after some time, and now they can’t even stand each other. They have nothing good to say about each other and blame each other for the falling out. According to ATT’s Dan Lambert, at one point, the situation got so out of hand that both were asked to leave the gym.

In an interview, Lambert discussed, “Yeah, it got toxic, you know, and it got to the point where it was affecting the gym. We’ve had lots of fighters in his gym over the last 25 years. We have people that love each other, we’ve got people that don’t like each other. But we’ve always been able to separate that, keep some professionalism in the gym and not let it affect the team.”
