The entire world has been anticipating the return of the former UFC double champion, Conor McGregor. After his phenomenal victory against Joaquim Silva by TKO at UFC Vegas 75, Arman Tsarukyan revealed a few names he desired to go against. Surprisingly, one name that caught the attention of many was Chandler. Thereafter, he opined that ‘The Notorious’ would not fight Chandler anytime soon. Why does Tsarukyan think Conor McGregor would not fight Chandler?
After his latest victory, Arman Tsarukyan revealed his thoughts regarding the highly anticipated fight between Chandler and McGregor. He seemed to be of the belief that McGregor would not fight anytime soon. During the UFC Vegas 75 press-conference, Tsarukyan was asked to justify his take on the statement.
The fighter justified his claims by saying that instead of training, all McGregor seemed to do was relax on his multi-million dollar superyacht, drink, smoke, and enjoy his time at the beach. He simply seemed to believe that the fight between McGregor and Chandler was not going to happen.
Tsarukyan said, “Because I saw what, what he’s, what McGregor is doing, you know. He is like relaxing on his yacht, you know, like drink alcohol, you know like goes to the beach, you know like smoke weed, you know. But with like trains like crazy guys in the gym, you know. Train like three-two times a day, you know… I think he’s not gonna fight, you know.”
Tsarukyan is not the only UFC personality who has a similar thought as another MMA legend also shared a similar stance.
